The short answer
Qurricular vs Maqsad is mostly board exams versus entry tests. As of October 2026, Maqsad, a Karachi-based platform, advertises MDCAT, ECAT, BCAT and O Level prep with daily live classes. Qurricular is a board exam prep app for Pakistani students from Class 9 to A Level, with a verified FBISE question bank, board-pattern papers and a date-sheet planner.

Maqsad also advertises recorded lectures and doubt solving. If you want a teacher on video and entry-test prep, Maqsad has things Qurricular does not. If your target is your board paper, Qurricular is built for that.

What is Maqsad better at than Qurricular?
Maqsad is better if you want live teaching and entry-test prep. Its site advertises daily live classes, recorded lectures, weekly mock tests, past papers, counselling and 1:1 tutoring. It also covers MDCAT, ECAT and BCAT, which Qurricular does not offer at all.
Maqsad is also an established name. It advertises 4M+ app downloads and 45,000+ enrolled students on its homepage, and ProPakistani reported a USD 2.8 million funding round in 2023. If you learn best by watching a teacher explain, that is a real advantage.
What is Qurricular better at than Maqsad for board exams?
Qurricular is better if your main goal is your FBISE board paper.
- The board syllabus, outcome by outcome. About 3,800 FBISE learning outcomes are mapped for Class 9 to 12.
- Board-pattern practice. 20,000+ verified MCQs, short and long questions, and full papers in the Federal Board's pattern.
- A planner from your date sheet that adjusts if you miss a day.
- Labs for practicals. Physics and chemistry labs and a Code Studio for Computer Science.
- Study when you want. No class timings to follow, and streaks keep the daily habit going.
