How do you choose the right study app?
Choose a study app by matching it to your exam first, then to how you learn. Follow these steps:
- Name your exam. Board exam (FBISE, Punjab board, Cambridge) or entry test (MDCAT, ECAT, NET)? Board apps and entry-test apps are built very differently.
- Decide how you learn. If you need a teacher explaining on screen, pick a video app like Maqsad, Nearpeer or Out-Class. If you learn by doing questions, pick a practice app like Qurricular or Parhlai.
- Check the price model. Monthly plans, per-course fees and free tiers add up differently over a year. Always confirm on the official site.
- Try the free version for a week. Most apps here have a free plan, trial or demo.
- Keep it to two or three apps. For example: one for teaching, one for practice and Anki for flashcards. Too many apps is just another way to procrastinate.
